What’s in your meals?

We’ve got 4 meals:

  • Pig (pork)
  • Roo (kangaroo and chicken)
  • Chook (chicken)
  • Big Chook (turkey and pork)

No matter which one you choose, 100% of our superior-quality, human-grade meat comes from Australia. Each meal is gently cooked, then topped up with a small but mighty mix of science-backed superfoods and essential nutrients.

Real meat first

Cats are obligate carnivores, which is a fancy way of saying they're made to eat meat (and the vitamins and minerals that come from it). That's why our meals are made of mostly Australian muscle and organ meats, which are naturally occurring protein, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

  • Pig is 90% pork (including pork, pork liver, pork heart and pork kidney)
  • Big Chook is 87% turkey and pork (including turkey, pork liver, Pork Heart, Pork Kidney)
  • Roo is 89% kangaroo and chicken (including kangaroo, chicken liver, chicken heart, chicken giblets)
  • Chook is 91% chicken (including chicken, chicken liver, chicken heart, chicken giblets)Different protein sources can also suit different preferences, so offering a few options makes it easier to keep mealtimes enjoyable and consistent.

Cats have discerning palates, so having a few different meals on rotation can help keep them craving real food.

A small but mighty mix of science-backed superfoods

We also add superfoods that help your cat stay healthy. They also taste good.

  • Organic psyllium husk

This gentle fibre helps keep things moving smoothly through the gut.

  • Shiitake mushrooms

This functional ingredient helps support your cat's digestion and immunity. Shiitake mushrooms have compounds that are known for their role in overall wellness.

  • North Atlantic kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum)

Kelp supports dental health. We've chosen this specific type because it's known to cut back on plaque and tartar, which helps your cat’s pearly whites in the long run.

  • Salmon oil, green lipped mussel, and fish

Superior sources of omega-3 fatty acids support skin and coat health, and joint health and mobility. If your cat gets dry skin, a dull coat, or just needs everyday joint support, omega-3s are a valuable part of a balanced diet.

  • Purified beef bone powder

Natural source of calcium and phosphorus support skeletal development and proper mineral balance.

  • Nutritional yeast and yeast extracts

These are rich in beta-glucans and mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) to feed good gut bacteria and support a balanced microbiome

  • Sunflower lecithin

This one gives your cat all-important phospholipids and choline, which help support healthy cells, fat metabolism, and nutrient absorption.

  • Egg powder

A superb source of highly-digestible omega-6 fatty acids to support your cat's skin and coat.

Vitamins and minerals

We add essential vitamins and minerals to make sure your cat's getting complete and balanced nutrition that's up to AAFCO standards. Most of the nutrients in our meals come from real meat.

  • Taurine

This is an essential amino acid and is a must have for all cats. It's important for heart health, vision, and overall wellbeing.

  • Calcium carbonate

This supports bone and skeletal health and helps maintain the correct calcium to phosphorous balance.

  • Magnesium

Supports many everyday body functions, including muscle and nerve function and energy metabolism. It also plays a role in overall mineral balance.

  • Vitamin E oil

This antioxidant helps protect cells from oxidative stress and support immune health.

  • Zinc

This essential mineral is good for the skin and coat, immune function, and wound healing.
